The Chief of the Army General Staff, General Agustín Humberto Cejas, commented on his Twitter social network account that, from the National Defense Fund (Fondef), there is a replacement program for the Bell UH-1H Huey helicopters and UH-1H Huey II in service with Army Aviation.
Within the budget bill for 2021 there are two public credit operations that contemplate indebtedness for amounts of 24 million dollars and 36 million dollars for the acquisition of ten rescue helicopters and medium helicopters, respectively, to be amortized in a minimum term of three years.
