North Korea’s introduction of a suspected new intercontinental ballistic missile during a massive military parade this weekend sent a warning that its nuclear weapons program is advancing amid stalled talks with the United States.
The new liquid-propellant weapon appeared to be an enlarged Hwasong 15 ICBM, hinting at extended range to about 8,500-13,000 km.
Other SLBM was marked “Pukguksong 4A.” It featured a harper nose cone than the in service Pukguksong 3. and apparently inducted in two lengths version.
