The Spanish shipyard Navantia has signed a contract with Morocco for the design and construction of a multi role patrol vessel for the country’s Royal Navy. The ship will be based on Navantia’s Avante class and will be similar to the Coastal Surveillance Vessels (BVL), built for the Venezuelan Navy at the beginning of this century.
