The Argentine Government ratified, through Administrative Decision 617/2021 published yesterday in the Official Gazette, a new inter-administrative contract between the Ministry of Defense and the Argentine Aircraft Factory ‘Brigadier San Martin’ (Fadea). This agreement exceeds 18.7 million dollars and has among its objectives the completion of the modernization works of a Hercules C-130 of the Argentine Air Force (FAA) and of a Pampa III flight trainer.
The Hercules Fadea is working on is the TC-64. This is a task that has been going on for several months and includes: isochronous, PDM (‘scheduled maintenance’ for Programmed Depot Maintenance) and painting.
The total price of all these services amounts to almost $ 19 million, which is divided into: $ 6,398,770 for materials and $ 12,344,050 for labor.
