The Brazilian Army has selected Rafael’s proposal for the acquisition of anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM), so the Israeli firm will supply 100 units of its Spike-LR system. The contract, valued at $19 million, also includes ten launchers, simulators, integrated logistical support and training.
The Spike-LR (Long Range) is a 5th generation electro-optical guided missile, which can be launched by an infantryman or by vehicles (multiplatform), can be integrated with remote controlled weapon systems (SARC) and is in use in several countries.
