Ukraine; Military claims UK sent NLAW destroyed 40% of Russian armored vehicles  

According to information published by the “iNews” website on April 6, 2022, the United Kingdom has already delivered more than 4,200 NLAW anti-tank guided missile weapon systems to Ukraine. Citing Ukrainian military officials, the use of the NLAW allowed the destruction of 30 to 40% of the Russian armored vehicles deployed during combat operations in Ukraine.

On January 19, 2022, British defense secretary Ben Wallace had announced the United Kingdom had already delivered 2,000 NLAWs anti-tank guided missile weapons to Ukraine.

On January 24, 2022, Army Recognition reported the delivery of NLAW by C-17 military transport aircraft of the British Royal Air Force. On March 24, 2022, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced the sending of another batch of 6,000 missiles to Ukraine in the framework to support its fight against the Russian invasion. More NLAWs were requested by the Ukrainian military following reports that they proved highly effective against Russian vehicles, leading to at least 100 more being allocated by Luxembourg

Citing military experts, the sending of all these anti-tank weapons to Ukraine enabled the Ukrainian troops to resist the Russian troops and the numerous main battle tanks and armored vehicles which were deployed for this conflict by the Russian armed forces. These weapons made it possible to gain superiority over the Russian armed forces.

The NLAW (Next generation Light Anti-tank Weapon) also called MBT LAW or RB-57 is a man-portable anti-tank missile weapon system developed and manufactured by the Swedish company SAAB.
