The transaction has been made directly with the company General Dynamics Land Systems and has not transcended the value of the same.
The Colombian Government, through the Ministry of Defense, has approved yesterday, May 19, the purchase of 50 armored vehicles of the General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) 8×8 LAV III DVH type. The total value of the transaction is still unknown.
The contracting has been carried out directly with GDLS and with the Colombian Army’s own funds (EJC) since, as Infodefensa.com had reported, the force had long been in talks with the company about this armored vehicle of which it already has 32 units.
