The Army has followed the recommendations of the Ministry of Defense and gives the go-ahead to the acquisition of the system developed by IAI
Colombia, through its Army’s artillery weapon (EJC), has selected israel Aerospace Industries’ (IAI) Barak MX solution as its future air defense system, in development of its Comprehensive National Defense System (Siden) program.
The decision was taken last May, after the board of officers, composed of three major generals, four brigadier generals and a colonel, headed by General Jairo Fuentes Sandoval, examined the technical presentations made for this purpose.
