The National Congress approved for the year 2023 a consolidated budget estimated at 2,252 million dollars for the Chilean Armed Forces and their related organizations. This figure represents an increase of 0.5% compared to 2022.
The 2023 budget that the Ministry of National Defense will receive corresponds to one of continuity since there are no significant variations for the basic functioning of the sector with respect to the current year.
