The K-4386 Typhoon-VDV, another new 4×4 armored vehicle designed for Russian airborne troops is now deployed in Ukraine to perform combat operations. The vehicle was unveiled in 2019 at the Military Technical Forum defense exhibition that was held near Moscow.

The K-4386 Typhoon-VDV is based on a 4×4 truck chassis and was developed and designed by Remdiesel, a subsidiary of Kamaz. According to the manufacturer, it offers ballistic and mine protection as an MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle.
