The contract has been awarded to the company by the General Directorate of Armament and Material (DGAM). The objective is to develop and test the new generation of electronic intelligence systems that will facilitate the detection and generation of strategic information to ensure access and use of the electromagnetic spectrum to the Armed Forces.

This Elint electronic intelligence system will bolster, according to the company, the Navy’s ability to detect, classify and extract intelligence from the signals emitted by the radars of other militaries.

The company details that this equipment incorporates the latest advances in digital signal processing that allow the Navy to adapt more flexibly to any operating environment. “It is a system that offers greater performance, range and sensitivity, and that allows data to be collected in a more agile way, simultaneously covering a greater bandwidth to detect the radars of low probability of interception that some platforms use to try to hide,” he specifies.
