On April 5, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and the Ukrainian company ARTeM concluded an agreement on cooperation in the production of tank ammunition. The document was signed in the presence of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin.
The concluded agreement defines the principles of cooperation between the two entities in the production of 125mm tank ammunition. This is yet another form of support that the Polish Armaments Group provides to the fighting Ukraine.
Pursuant to the provisions of the agreement, both signatories decided that new production lines would be built in the near future, which would allow for the production of large quantities of 125mm tank ammunition intended for the needs of the Ukrainian army. Their location will be chosen jointly by both parties. The Polish side declared to donate for this purpose not only its technology of producing this type of ammunition, but also the equipment needed for this purpose. The components necessary for the production of the ammunition will be supplied by both parties according to their means and capabilities. Both MESKO SA, a company belonging to the PGZ Capital Group, and the Ukrainian company ARTeM have the necessary competences, experience and prepared staff in this area.
The agreement on the joint production of 125mm tank ammunition is one of several signed during the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Poland. It is also a confirmation that the Polish government, as well as the Polish Armaments Group, are systematically expanding the scope of support provided to the Ukrainian side on the way to victory and regaining full sovereignty by Ukraine.
