Indonesia; Air Force inducts 8 Airbus H225M Helicopters  

Indonesian Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto on Dec. 1 handed over eight Airbus H225M heavy lift helicopters, an industrial collaboration between PTDI and France’s Airbus Helicopters, to Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo at Air Base Bogor. The eight helicopters were delivered in stages, and the first unit was delivered on September 14 by PTDI’s Rotary Wing, Bandung, to the Indonesian Air Force.

Before the helicopter handover ceremony, Minister of Defense Prabowo expressed his appreciation, and said it was an honor to hand over the H225M helicopters and simulator to the Air Force.

Meanwhile, the H225M Full Flight Simulator (FFS) built at ATS Air Base is the highest level Flight Simulator Training Device and the only one in Southeast Asia that is qualified on the basis of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 60).
