As the Paris 2024 Olympic Games approach, Theon Sensors, in partnership with Sunrock, has concluded a four-year framework agreement with the French Ministry of the Interior to supply its Argus and Argus Panoptes night vision systems.
Signed on March 27, 2024, this agreement enables key French security and defense entities, including the National Police, National Gendarmerie, Customs, and the Security & Defense Cooperation Directorate, to acquire up to 8,500 units of advanced night vision equipment.
The agreement marks a step in enhancing the night vision capabilities of French law enforcement units, just in time to meet the security requirements of the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris. Leveraging Theon’s robust production capacity and agile supply chain, the company is ready to rapidly deliver these high-tech systems, highlighting its ability to efficiently meet urgent market needs.
This contract builds on a solid foundation of trust and performance, as Theon and Sunrock have previously equipped the National Gendarmerie, National Police, and Customs Units with hundreds of Argus Night Vision monoculars and other related equipment. This also includes supplying technology for the close protection unit of the French Presidency.
