Argentina; FAA commissions two new training aircraft

The Argentine Air Force has added two new Tecnam P2002JF Sierra aircraft to its training fleet. These aircraft, with the registration numbers E-558 and E-559 and assembled by the company Aerotec Argentina at its plant in Mendoza, were ordered in 2023 with the aim of improving the training capabilities of future military pilots.

The new aircraft will be integrated into Squadron 3 of the Air School Group of the Military Aviation School, and will play a fundamental role in the first stage of the Joint Basic Military Aviator Course. This course starts from the initial phase in the training of all fixed-wing pilots of the Argentine Armed Forces.
