As tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan continue to escalate, Türkiye has strengthened Azerbaijan’s defense capabilities by providing it with two advanced anti-drone electronic warfare systems: the İlter J250 and İlter HP. Developed by Bogazici Defense, these systems are designed to neutralize a range of drone threats and have already been exported to more than 10 countries. After successful testing in Türkiye, the systems were delivered to Azerbaijan, marking a significant improvement in its anti-drone capabilities.
The İlter J250 system specializes in drone detection with its RF spectrum and radar capabilities. It provides a 360-degree detection and suppression radius against multiple drone attacks. The system can detect drones at a minimum horizontal distance of 1 km up to 8 km and has a vertical detection range between 40° and 60°. It also has a user-friendly interface and a scrambling ratio of at least 1:2, with a typical ratio of 1:5. Additionally, the system is capable of jamming GNSS bands.
The İlter HP, on the other hand, is a GNSS ISM system with high false and blocking power. It has the ability to block target points up to 80 kilometers from secure areas. Installed in a closed 4×4 vehicle, the İlter HP can operate continuously for 24 hours a day.
