Russia delivered a batch of BRDM-2 to the Central African Republic

“The first batch of the vehicles has been delivered. Another ten are due to arrive on October 20. This is Russia’s gift to the Central African Republic,” a staffer of the Russian embassy in the CAR was quoted as saying by TASS on Thursday.

The APCs were delivered from Russia by an Antonov-124 Ruslan cargo plane. There was a parade at the airport reviewed by CAR President Faustine-Archange Touadera.
