The Ministry of Defense of Colombia (MDF),through the Colombian Air Force (FAC),has acquired from the US company AAR Corp two aircraft of the Boeing 737-700/800 for 38.1 million dollars.
This acquisition seeks to renew and modernize the aeronautical equipment in relation to passenger aircraft of the FAC at the national level, according to commitment number 34921.
However, with this purchase, the FAC does not seek only to increase its logistics and liaison capabilities, but also plans to convert these aircraft into intelligence platforms.
