The Colombian Ministry of Defense has announced the change of part of the leadership of its armed forces.
Major General Juan Pablo Forero was appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff of Joint Operations, while Marine Corps Colonel Jorge Torres Mora was appointed as head of the Joint Operations Department, having also been appointed as Chief Department Joint Intelligence and Counterintelligence Rear Admiral Darwin Alonso Torres.
Major General Wilson Chávez was appointed as Army Operations Chief of Staff.
Naval Force of the East will be commanded by Admiral Orlando Enrique Grisales, while the Specific Command of San Andrés and Providencia will be led by Captain Norman Cabrera.
