Croatia; Government again defers fighter jet program

Croatian government formally postponed the scheduled decision for the Air Forces new fighter jets competition. The delay is attributed to the recent earth quake, which necessitates re-prioritization of national resources.  At present the short listed competitors are Lockheed-Martin;s F-16 Block 70, Israeli F-16 upgraded Block 30 , SAAB JAS-139C/D, and surplus French Rafale F3R.
