The South American country has signed a financing agreement for the purchase of aircraft manufactured under license by Hindustan Aeronautics
The Government of Guyana has signed a $23.27 million financing agreement with the Export-Import Bank of India (Eximbank) for the purchase of two aircraft for the Defence Force.
The event took place in Georgetown on March 15 and was led by Finance Minister Ashni Singh; the Deputy Director General of Eximbank, Sanjay Lamba; and which was attended by the Chief of the Defence Staff, Brigadier Omar Khan, among other authorities.
