India’s Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) under the Ministry of Defence green-lighted a program to procure air defence guns.
Headed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, DAC approved the issuance of a Request to buy air defense guns and ammunition for the Army at an approximate cost of $930 million.
