The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) will partner with Caverton Helicopters on the maintenance of its rotary wing aircraft as it seeks to improve serviceability.
The NAF on 12 January said Caverton Helicopters would also help develop capacity with its engineers, technicians and pilots.
Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, said Caverton Helicopters is one of the companies the NAF was keen to partner with, especially for the maintenance of NAF aircraft such as the AW139, Bell 412 and A109 Power helicopters.
Abubakar said the NAF, in collaboration with sister Services, was working round the clock to tackle insurgency and other security challenges confronting the nation and that his visit to Caverton was part of the fight against insurgency.
