During the DSEI 2023 exhibition, the technology group Rohde & Schwarz announced that the Norwegian army has selected this company to supply a comprehensive electronic warfare system known as Heimdall. This strategic decision aims to bolster Norway’s surveillance capabilities and improve situational awareness.
Rohde & Schwarz was chosen due to its equipment’s reputed RF characteristics, rapid signal processing capabilities, and user-friendly operation. Heimdall is set to provide the Norwegian Army with enhanced information detection, location, and analysis capabilities, thereby strengthening its proficiency in electronic warfare.
