Major General Manuel Gómez de la Torre Araníbar has been appointed as Army commander. New Navy commander is Vice Admiral Ricardo Alfonso Menéndez Calle. Air Force will be headed by Lieutenant General Rodolfo Alejandro Pereyra Cuneo.
