According to a video released on the “DA-REAL Military Channel” YouTube channel on September 15, 2022, China has delivered CS/VP3 Bigfoot 4×4 mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) vehicles as part of its military assistance to the Philippines for 2022.
On 9th February 2022, the first batch of 130 million RMB military donations from China was formally handed over to the Department of National Defense (DND) of the Philippines at the Lapu-Lapu Grandstand, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Metro Manila.
The CS/VP3 is motorized with an unspecified Diesel engine. The vehicle can run at a maximum road speed of 100km with a maximum cruising range of 800 km.
