The Spanish Army has launched a tender for the acquisition of combat scopes and low-profile picatinny rails for an amount of 646,866 euros, including VAT. The required inventory comprises 1,200 scopes and 1,800 rails.

Combat sights are to be adapted 5.56mm caliber rifles. Among other requirements, they will have a magnification of IX and a point size of two minutes of angle (MOA), will offer an aperture of 20 mm, will be compatible with 3x, 4x and 6x magnification, and will have a configuration of, at least ten lighting modes for the day and two for night lighting.
