The new Iveco trucks acquired by the Ministry of Defense for the Armed Forces will include a series of improvements that will facilitate the driving and maintenance of equipment and systems, to which we must add new accessories for some of its versions.

The trucks will have a system that allows monitoring the behavior of the vehicle from the point of view of its stability, both dynamic and static, to identify, alert and prevent situations of rollover danger, according to the latest issue of the Digital Earth. The system will also record all communication data between the electronic control units and the vehicle’s sensor array for subsequent download or telematics delivery over mobile networks. This, explains the Army, will make it possible to “adapt maintenance to the type of use of vehicles.”

They will also incorporate as standard a system that avoids “their packing”, restricting their speed to an increase of 5 km / h above that established by the limiter”. In addition, the vehicles will have an improvement in the cooling of the mechanical components of the powertrain.
