The Council of Ministers has appointed Admiral Fausto Escrigas as Chief of Staff of the Navy (Ajema). The appointment followed a vacancy left two weeks ago by Admiral Teodoro López Calderón, after being promoted to Chief of Defense Staff (Jemad) replacing Air General Miguel Ángel Villarroya, who resigned due to the case of vaccines against Covid.
