Aselsan has signed an agreement with the Presidency of Defence Industries of Turkey for the supply of air defense radar systems.
The agreements are valued at $170.9 million and 1.95-billion Turkish lira (around $55.49 million), with delivery taking place between 2026 and 2031, the Turkish defense firm stated.
No further details have been shared about the deal. However, one of the likely candidates for the deal is the ALP-300G Portable Early Warning Radar System, earlier called the ERALP Early Warning Radar System.
The radar’s development was first announced in 2022, and its delivery to the Turkish Armed Forces began in May this year.
