Milrem Robotics has committed to supplying the UAE Armed Forces with an impressive fleet of 60 unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), divided into 20 tracked robotic combat vehicles (RCVs) and 40 THeMIS UGVs. This deployment is set to be the first of its kind in an operational scale and is anticipated to pave the way for a more substantial order upon the successful completion of the initial trial program.

The RCVs, equipped with 30mm MK44 cannons, and the THeMIS Combat units, armed with 30mm M230LF Remote Weapon Stations and Indirect Fire Systems, along with THeMIS Observe units featuring advanced radar, camera systems, and shot detection capabilities, signify a significant leap towards integrating unmanned ground capabilities into the UAE Armed Forces’ arsenal. This strategic enhancement is aimed at bolstering the Armed Forces’ combat capabilities and operational efficiency through the incorporation of advanced autonomy features, third-party payloads, and superior communication solutions.
