The UK Ministry of Defence has sought to procure 300 large first-person view (FPV) drones for Ukraine.
A recently issued procurement tender called for up to 15 batches of FPV drones, consisting of 20 drones each, UK Defence Journal reported, citing the procurement notice.
It includes both combat and reconnaissance drones, with a payload of over 5 kilograms (11 pounds).
The 2-million-pound ($2.68 million) procurement intends to meet “urgent operational needs within the Drone Capability Coalition” to ensure a stable drone supply for Ukraine.
