After last month Berlin blocked the supply of Spanish Leopard tanks to Ukraine, now it is Germany itself that, it has transpired, is considering sending 20 units of the same model to Kiev. The German parliamentarian and former colonel Roderich Kiesewetter, member of the party in the coalition government of the CDU country, has revealed that after three months of reflection, his country offers Ukraine the delivery of a score of Leopard 2 tanks from next April, with a cadence of one unit per month until October next year, where the supply flow will be increased to three tanks per month.
